Fresenius Medical Care Canada is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Product Manager, Home Therapies: HHD/NxStage & PD working out of Richmond Hill, Ontario. The position entails the following:
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Supports FMCC’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCC Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, Products and Pharmaceuticals, this individual is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting their product line(s), to ensure that FMCC is maximizing all product potential with the Canadian market.

DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:
CUSTOMER SERVICE:

- Responsible for driving the FMCC culture through values and customer service standards.
- Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
- Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Coordinate strategic planning and annual marketing planning with cross functional team input, for product line(s) to ensure that FMCC’s financial goals are met both short and long term:

- Be the team leader on multi-disciplinary launch teams to bring new products within your scope of business to market, including successfully building a project plan, manage the delivery of outcomes, schedule tasks and on budget.
- Do business analysis for recommended pricing of new products and present to Director of Marketing for approval.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies fro all products within your business portfolio, included in this key messaging.
- Provide the sales, clinical and technical organization with product strategy and messaging and appropriate product updates, competitive analysis, clinical support and sales tools.
- Interface with FMC Global and America/Europe Marketing Managers regarding new product developments and updates.

3. Monitor product performance on a continuous basis (e.g., key performance indicators including sales and market share, forecast and inventory management) under the guidance of the Director of Marketing.

4. Manage the Marketing OPEX budget with the team to come in on target annually.

5. Research, analyze, and monitor the financial, technological, and demographic factors impacting the Canadian dialysis market in order to maximize market opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity.

6. Work closely with the QA/RA to assure products are registered correctly and on time with Health Canada.

7. Work closely with the Supply Chain Management department to predict the demand forecasts for your products.

8. Assist in coordinating and participate in dialysis related trade shows including the preparation of promotional materials.

9. Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
In the event of existing or future pandemic restrictions, most work will be completed remotely. An existing WIFI connection and appropriate work area will be required. Visits to the office in Richmond Hill, Ontario during any pandemic, may be required occasionally (approx. 2-3 times monthly). Travel is required from time to time (attending conferences, evaluations and implementation of products).

EDUCATION:

- Preferred post-secondary education in Marketing, Business or Sciences

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

- A minimum of two (2) years marketing and/or sales, experience in the Canadian dialysis market with a demonstrated record of achievement and goal attainment.
