Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your cooking skills and contribute to a fast-paced restaurant environment.

**Duties**:

- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistent quality of dishes
- Cook menu items in a timely manner, ensuring proper cooking techniques and temperatures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safe handling of food
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor of any shortages or expired ingredients

**Skills**:

- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55-$25.13 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
