**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

Grant Research and Identification:

- Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with Legends Haul's objectives and priorities.
- Stay updated on relevant grant programs, funding sources, and government initiatives.

Grant Proposal Development:

- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and develop compelling grant proposals.
- Write and edit grant proposals, ensuring alignment with grant guidelines and requirements.
- Tailor proposals to meet the specific requirements of different grantors.

Grant Application Management:

- Compile and organize all necessary documents, including financial statements, supporting data, and project descriptions.
- Work with brand department when needed to adhere to brand guidelines [logos, fonts, and verbiage] when and where applicable.

Grant Compliance and Reporting and Relationship Management:

- Monitor awarded grants to ensure compliance with grantor guidelines and regulations.
- Develop and implement systems to track grant-related activities, budgets, and reporting requirements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with grantors, program officers, and other stakeholders.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and networking events to stay connected with the grant community.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between grant-funded projects and overall company objectives.

Certification Initiatives and B Corp Status:

- Lead efforts to obtain certifications within the food and beverage industry.
- Initiate and lead the journey towards achieving B Corp status, demonstrating Legends Haul's commitment to their ESG standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable practices and policies required for B Corp certification.

Office Digitization Strategy:

- Take an active role with the team leading our office digitization strategy.
- Participate in developing and executing the office digitization strategy to enhance efficiencies and reduce paper-based processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve data management, and reduce the company's environmental footprint through digital solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and relevant departments to implement digital tools and platforms effectively.

**ROLE QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, nonprofit management, or finance. A master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience in grant writing, grant management, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify suitable grant opportunities
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with an eye for detail and brand consistency
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy
- Knowledge of grant regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standards
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles
- Proficient in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Mondays, Workspace or similar software programs
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Previous experience in the food manufacturing or distribution industry is a plus
- Passion for sustainability and commitment to promoting responsible business practices
