**Duties**:Including but not limited to;
- Conduct practical and theoretical training sessions for Class 1 drivers, covering topics such as vehicle/trailer operation, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and update training materials and curriculum to reflect current industry standards and best practices.
- Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure competency and confidence.
- Collaborate with HR/Safety to facilitate orientation sessions, introducing new hires to company policies, procedures, processes and culture.
- Provide ongoing support to drivers in their transition into their roles, offering guidance and resources as needed.
- Identify areas for improvement in training processes and suggest enhancements to increase effectiveness and engagement.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Provide administrative support to HR and Safety throughout the onboarding process.
**Qualifications**:
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver; prior instructional experience an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate, inspire and encourage others in a training environment.
- B-train & offroad experience required.
- Valid First Aid ticket required.
- In-depth understanding of federal hours of service, E-Log's & ELD's a must.

**Compensation**:$30 - $33/hour.
