**What you’ll do**:
New Account Sales
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities and generate leads
- Develop and maintain a list of target clients and identify their position in the sales funnel
- Utilize the Company CRM to manage clients through the selling process
- Meet regularly with Rental operational leaders to identify target clients and warm leads through existing reservations
- Attend tradeshows and networking events
- Provide regular reporting on customer activity
- Work with the account services team to provide professional quotations and proposals
- Conduct sales pitches with new prospects
- Work closely with Rental operations on new account orientations and implementations
Account Management
- Meet regularly with clients to assess their ongoing needs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Host clients for meals and entertainment
- Provide customers with regular account overviews
- Conduct annual account reviews and renewals
- Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s needs and identify opportunities for providing additional products and services
- Work with operational teams, Credit and account services as required to address and resolve customer complaints, billing issues or other challenges
General
- Improve profitability by working with Marketing and using customer performance data to select appropriate markets and targets
- Continuously assess and mitigate areas of risk to the branch and company overall by reporting issues and communicating company policies, quality standards, and health and safety expectations to employees and vendors
- Provide input on overall strategy, pricing and selling
- Be a product expert and position the Company as the leading provider of vehicle rentals, sales, leasing and fleet management
**What you'll need**:
- Post-secondary in Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
- 2 years’ experience in either automotive, equipment sales / leasing or industrial sales preferred
- 2 years’ experience in B2B sales with a focus on long term relationship building
- Strong lead generation and negotiation skills
- Valid Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract acceptable to TDF Group’s Driver and Vehicle Safety Program (in order to drive company vehicles)
- Due to fiduciary responsibility, pre-hire Criminal Security Clearance and Credit Check is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- High energy and passion for meeting new people in face-to-face situations and for selling value to customers
- Must have impeccable ethics
