**Position Title**:Client Services Coordinator

**Job Classification**:35 Hours/week. Some evenings/weekend work may be required

**Job Purpose**:To Support Persons affected by Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders

**Reporting To**:Executive Director

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Offer programs and services to individuals, families, and groups for ESEO
- Provide information, referrals, advocacy, and support to clients (non-medical, supportive counseling), including those newly diagnosed with epilepsy
- Facilitate Support Groups
- Provide supports at the Epilepsy Clinics operated by Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) as an affiliated member of the multi-disciplinary team as instructed by ESEO. Report requested changes KHSC schedule or service options to ESEO Supervisor.
- Maintain files and statistics on clients and services being offered. Contribute to SUMAC Software entries in partnership with the ESEO Team. Advise ESEO Supervisor of Educational Resource or other Resource material requirements
- Advise ESEO Supervisor and Team of client travel needs
- Assist in advising ESEO regarding evaluation activities or opportunities for the service
- Represent the agency in the community as assigned by the Executive Director
- Maintain an awareness of the resources and services available in the local community
- Maintain up to date knowledge on current research and treatments for epilepsy
- Submit Monthly Reports on service utilization
- Monitor and Support Student Placements at ESEO as directed
- Other duties as assigned

**Additional Duties**:

- Provide office/telephone coverage when necessary
- Assist with overall office maintenance and cleanliness
- Attend and support ESEO Fundraising activities as a member of the ESEO Team
- Other duties as assigned

**Working Environment**:

- Required to attend meetings in person or through teleconference to address client service matters as necessary and approved by the ESEO Supervisor
- Required to address competing demands through prioritizing ESEO client service requirements and advise ESEO Supervisor should a crisis arise to seek direction

**Qualification and Skill Considerations**:

- Experience and skill in providing one-to-one and family supportive counseling and group facilitation is essential
- Knowledge of epilepsy and its impact on individuals and families
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task
- Must be a team player but also have the ability to work independently when required
- Must have a vehicle as travel will be required. Required to provide a copy of license and insurance annually.
- Sound computer skills with previous experience using MS Office are required
- Satisfactory CPIC

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
