Job Title: Talent and Engagement Manager

- **_Key tasks_**

**Talent Acquisition**
- Manages the strategic recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborates with leaders to understand staffing needs and aligns talent strategies with organizational goals.
- Creates and maintains relationships with external recruitment agencies and talent pools. Responsible for managing recruitment budgets and headcount.
- Conducts regular workforce planning assessments and works with managers to identify current and future talent requirements.
- Identifies key KPIs and generates regular reports on recruitment metrics
- Develops and manages a best-in-class onboarding program
- In partnership with Corporate Communications team, identifies strategies and platforms to promote Puratos and build brand awareness

**Talent Management**
- Designs and implements employee development programs to nurture skills and enhance career growth. Creates and maintains annual training calendar
- Oversees talent/performance management processes, providing guidance to managers and facilitating performance reviews. Participates in annual talent management session.
- Works closely with other Puratos talent teams to leverage programs and identify how best to evolve Puratos Canada’s practices (includes tracking/reporting on completion % of globally assigned mandatory programs)
- Identifies appropriate training programs as required and coordinates arrangements for delivery of training.
- Working with finance and VP, P&C prepares & recommends annual training budget and monitors spend throughout the year.
- Identifies preferred vendors and negotiates rates as well as terms and conditions, validates and remits invoices as required.
- Identifies key KPIs and generates regular reports on training/learning targets

**Engagement**
- Develops programs that motivate new and existing employees to perform at their best while fostering a highly engaged, positive and inclusive culture.
- Designs, creates and analyzes survey results, reports findings to Canadian Leadership Team and assists in the creation of effective action plans.
- Develops programs for Health & Wellbeing (H&WB) initiatives including creation of H&WB calendar.
- Manages and coordinates the top employer certification programs that establishes Puratos Canada as a recognized employer of choice brand & attracts top talent
- Working in collaboration with Corporate Communications and other leaders, identifies ways to enhance employee & organization communication

**QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED TRAITS**
- Bachelor Degree - 4-year program preferably in Human Resources, Education or Psychology. Equivalent combination of academic and practical experience will be considered.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in at least 2 of the key elements of role
- Exceptional communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Strong preference for familiarity with SuccessFactors, Power BI as well as e-learning platforms and practices.
- Strong planning, detail orientation, organizational and project management skills
- Business-fluent English is a requirement. French is not mandatory but preferred
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Self-Starter with strong work ethic with ability to work independently
- Quick learner who demonstrates professionalism, strong relationship building skills, is creative and has entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong problem solving & data analysis skills
- Some travel within Canada a few times per year is required, ability to travel internationally may be required but not anticipated
