**About the role**
We’re looking for an **Underwriting Assistant** to join our growing **Specialty Solutions **team
**What you’ll do here**:
- Process data clean-up activities for conversion.
- Responsible for data integrity of policies and assists Underwriter with data quality.
- Support Underwriters with their service requests.
- Build relationships and networks to support your professional growth and success.
- Innovate through your contributions to improve efficiency.
- Identifies and assigns incoming inquiries to appropriate individuals.
- Other administrative duties and tasks as required.
**What you bring to the table**:
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience
- Experience within CLPSS is preferred
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to prioritize work and thrive in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Highly organized to manage workflow efficiently without continuous supervision
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient data entry skills and strong attention to details
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Computer proficiency and the ability to navigate through multiple systems
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required in order to conduct business with stakeholders across the country
