**Burwash Equine Services** is an equine only veterinary clinic located 5 minutes south from Cochrane, AB along Highway 22. We offer: routine health appointments, podietry and lameness exams, reproduction services, referral services, and 24 hour emergency services.

Your role as front desk receptionist will be to help cultivate a working environment that is productive and efficient by supporting the veterinarians and other staff in their daily tasks. Your role is vital to providing high standards of client and patient care, and the efficient running of the clinic. You must be able to maintain a calm, courteous and professional demeanor, even when under stressful circumstances, and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. As a receptionist you should feel confident executing tasks with great attention to detail and thoroughness.

**Our front desk receptionist staff are responsible for (but not limited to)**:

- Providing friendly, quality care to our clients and patients
- Scheduling appointments and triaging emergency calls
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of client and patient information
- Providing basic healthcare information to our clients and handling prescription requests
- Preparing and filing documents with attention to detail
- Maintaining tidiness and organization of our reception, retail, and waiting room

**The administrative assistant role may also include**:

- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- Sending new client cards and sympathy cards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
