**Overview**:We are seeking a skilled and passionate barback to join our team at a vibrant Coastal Mediterranean restaurant in Toronto. As a barback at Abrielle, you are responsible for supporting the front of house team in all areas of the bar. You are also an essential liaison between the servers & bartenders, facilitating the smooth operation and communication between them from behind the bar.

**Reports to**

Assistant General Manager directly, as well as all other managers at Abrielle.

**Areas of Responsibility**
- Support the service and bar team to exceed guest expectations
- Ensure that service stations are fully stocked at all times
- Lead the set up & tear of banquet events in the private dining room & banquet space
- Assist bar staff with polishing glassware as necessary
- Execute coffee service from the Cafe Station.
- Ensure bar area and assigned section remains clean and organized
- Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and fully
- Polish cutlery, glassware and plates as necessary
- Re-stock at Bar Alc or Non Alc Offerings, as needed
- All other duties, as assigned by the MOD.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Positive and resilient attitude
- At least 1 year server assistant and/or customer service experience an asset
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues
- Smart Serve Certification a requirement
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Smart Serve Certification a requirement
- A Degree/ Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
