Lasalle, Canada Logix Its Inc. Full time

Logix ITS is an umbrella group of companies that creates innovative technology and solutions to help solve everyday safety and parking challenges. We’re passionate about preventing speeding, saving lives, and simplifying the parking experience. Since 1995, we have become a leading manufacturer of traffic calming, parking guidance technology, and traffic safety data software. We have offices in the US, Canada, Mexico, and India.

At Logix ITS, we help improve the well-being of millions of people driving on roads and parking in lots around the world. Our passion for improving wellbeing naturally extends to the lives of every one of our employees as we help them invest in themselves, their knowledge, and their abilities.

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented and versatile Inventory Supervisor to work in our Montreal office. You will be responsible for managing the parts inventory area in conjunction with purchasing and assembly. This role “owns” each part and ensures the balance of enough but not “too much” is maintained. You will be responsible for the following:

- Manage the Inventory Assistant by preparing weekly responsibilities and set priorities
- Collaborate with the production manager to ensure material is supplied ahead of schedule to production in accordance with the Sales Order deadline.
- Conduct daily inventory analysis by locating and fixing inconsistencies and issues
- Find items that may be missing and update the ERP system's pictures of them so they may be more easily identified.
- Responsible to collaborate with the purchasing department for new item orders, count to alert them if there are discrepancies, and if duplicate or similar items are found, they can use one to avoid ordering two distinct items and save money on buying new parts.
- Notify the BOM if there are significant differences between the physical count and the ERP system's numbers, and let purchasing department know if there is need to make changes in the BOM
- Daily: Compile a report of “Missing Items” and “Used but Low Stock Items” each day and send it to the purchasing department.
- Work with the Quality Check (QC) department to arrange the delivery of products for testing and prompt return of the results to production.
- Receive parts from shipment count and proper check and then update information in the system.
- Ensure that the proper quantity of stock is kept on hand to prevent overstocking, which ties up funds and cause storage problems. Communicate with Purchasing on a regular basis
- Coordinate with the design department to collect and inventory the parts as needed.
- Collaborate with the RMA department end of the month either scrap the items or send back for repair.
- Monthly: Perform a monthly cycle count to ensure that the numbers are accurate and in line with the ERP system.
- Organize, manage, and conduct year-end inventory count.
- Use a forklift as necessary.
- Occasional lifting of items.
- Keep the inventory room neat and organized

**What we are looking for**:

- Someone who is meticulous with an attention to detail and a love of numbers
- Strong accountability, ability to validate information & do research
- Strong organization skills & able to collaborate with other departments
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- ERP knowledge
- Forklift experience _is an asset_
- Ability to lift items, physically fit
- Excellent English skills (written and oral)

We offer all our employees a competitive salary and excellent benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance, RRSP investment program, STM discounts, gym membership reimbursement, professional development, and a welcoming work environment where everyone is passionate about helping others. Our employees enjoy great camaraderie, free coffee and tea, a well-stocked kitchen (SNACKS), and monthly birthday lunch celebrations.
