QA/qc Inspector Manager

**Job Overview**
The QA/QC Inspector Manager will report directly to the Site Lead. The major accountabilities of the QA/QC Inspector Manager are inspecting construction of buildings and related systems to ensure compliance with applicable building codes, contract documents and specifications.
**Quality Responsibilities**
- Reviews construction plans and specifications for compliance with project requirements
- Ensures construction activities are carried out in accordance with project requirements and an approved ITP
- Liaises with/schedule regulatory body (TSSA)
- Prepares for and participates in corporate and regulatory audits
- Performs weld visual inspections
- Creates ITPs
- Completes punch lists on mechanical work
- Coordinates NDE inspections
- Liaises with construction and client personnel
- Identifies and investigates any quality control related problems
- Other duties as required
**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of quality inspection experience
- CWB Level II Welding Inspector (W178.2, B31.3 &/or Section VIII / IX)
- Trade qualifications are an asset
- API qualifications are an asset
- Familiar with ASME BPV Code, ASME B31.3, CSA B51, API 650
- Familiar with refinery equipment and process piping systems
- Understands quality inspection procedures, tools, and equipment
- Explicit knowledge of products and processes
- Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Intermediate skill level in MS Office Package
- Strong coordination and organization skills
- Ability to set and manage priorities to meet all deadlines
- Team Player attitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
**Position Information**
- Schedule will be Monday to Friday
- Long term full-time position
- Competitive salary
- Onsite position located in Sarnia, Ontario
