Contract Administrator

**_BIS Safety Software_** is a fast-paced, high-growth organization providing leading software for the safety industry - a tech company that helps keep people safe at work. We are expanding and seeking a full-time team member to join our legal team.
As a member of our team, you will collaborate with our in-house counsel, business development team, and members of our leadership group to develop sales contracts for our growing customer base. This role requires a highly detailed individual who is comfortable working from existing templates as well as creating new language as required.

- Demonstrate strong computing skills with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Excel, and DocuSign
- Draft sales contracts for new clients, working from existing templates
- Support negotiations of certain contracts following guidelines laid out by In-House Counsel
- Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms and convey those risks to team members
- Review contracts with a critical eye for errors and omissions and assist with document revisions
- Organize and maintain record and document handling systems for future reference on existing and new contracts, bids and proposals
- Assist with finalizing documents and coordinating signatures on documents
- Draft client correspondence as needed
- Oversee client onboarding process and workflow with various departments
- Maintain contracts playbook, writing guides and databases for unique contract terms
- Review documents, contracts, marketing material and webpages for terms consistency and detail
- Collaborate with team members from multiple departments
- Gather information and conduct research for various projects, as required
- Support with administrative duties as required, including formatting and finalizing documents
**Preferential qualifications**:
- 1 - 2 years of experience as an in-house contract administrator or commercial paralegal
- Contract Management Certificate, Paralegal or Legal Assistant formal training, or related post secondary education or training or experience is considered an asset.
Salary ranges are based on experience, reflecting the unique skillset each individual brings to the role.
