A busy food wholesale distribution warehouse is looking for an experienced warehouse manager who wants to grow with a young company.

This job is for someone that likes variety in their day to day. This person will be in leading a team of 2, as well as the work flow of the warehouse. Due diligence in working with food products and CFIA compliancy is key and this is a role with high responsibility.

**Role Responsibilities and Duties**
- In charge of all receiving items in the system and physically in the warehouse
- Act as team lead and work along side two others in the warehouse
- Counting items received and checking against the packing lists for discrepancies
- Recording batch numbers and expiry dates
- Responsible for allocation of items in the warehouse before receiving large shipments
- Double checking orders and delivery routes before they go out
- Coordinating shipments with freight carriers
- Managing the maintenance schedule of the vans and forklift
- Organize the cooler and monitory temperature
- Be able to lift heavy items (up to 50lbs) as this job entails lifting on a regular basis
- Unloading containers
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Provide excellent customer service

**Qualifications/Job Requirements**
- Team player who also works independently
- Minimum 2 years warehouse experience
- Forklift experience required
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft office, Internet Applications)
- Positive and friendly attitude, respectful and self-motivated
- Ability to read and converse in English

We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for wage increase based on performance. End of year Bonus.

**Salary**: From $27.00 per hour
