**Location**:This position is based out of Burlington, Ontario.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The canidate is responsible for the Installation of our client’s cabinetry, custom millwork as well as other tasks related to general renovation. The focus is on collaborating with shop team members, hands on Installation including hardware parts/components, ensuring quality control, and timely performance.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**

At Imatree Cabinets & Woodworking LTD, you will need strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent knowledge and experience with carpentry to be successful. You must be proactive in completing work and excited to take on (or learn) new tasks - small or large.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Review new projects to recommended Installation technique based on design objectives.
- Determine products, materials and quantities needed for projects.
- Collaborate with the team members to identify and plan the division of responsibilities relating to the scope of work.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and Installation to ensure they meet client and Company’ standards.
- Coordinate and communicate all project specifications and ongoing progress to team members (continuity of information flow between departments)
- Proactively identify issues, obstacles, delays; create effective solutions.
- Work with the Director of Operations to develop an efficient plan for installation of all fabricated items.
- Possess the flexibility to work independently, or as a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adhere to Health & Safety, including cultivating and promoting a safe working environment.
- Available to work 45 hours per week (9.5 hours a day) or as necessary to complete projects.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3+ years’ experience in Cabinetry, Millwork & Carpentry
- Preferably in Installation.
- Hands-on technical skill-set encompassing Installation, and general carpentry.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing strong team-building skills.
- Proven experience with Cabinetry materials and Cabinet Installation, demonstrating a working knowledge of Installation procedures, materials and installation methods unique to our business.
- Ability to work to deadlines and able to follow directions.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving & analytical skills.
- Ability to work and thrive in a collaborative, multi-tasked environment while efficiently managing their own time.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Detail Oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

We design and fabricate custom kitchens & cabinets for homeowners and businesses in the GTA. In addition to the construction of clients' cabinets, we manage their other home renovations.

We have built strong working relationships with our clients. As a small custom cabinet shop with a small but growing team, we are all dedicated to quality work and an exceptional client experience. We value teamwork, a strong work ethic and hold ourselves to the highest standard to ensure not only are our client's projects a success, but our team as well.

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
