The Field Service Representative (FSR) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.

This position is part of the Field Service Organization located in Vancouver, British Columbia and will be supporting a territory around the British Columbia region. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Field Service Representative team and report to the Western service manager responsible for providing frontline support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting. The FSR uses critical thinking to resolve issues within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action to rapidly repair instrumentation. FSRs also provide training to our customers, verify the operational performance of the instrumentation, and data quality of systems ensuring we provide the most accurate results in the marketplace. **In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Serve as lead to assigned customers and under mínimal supervision complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, maintenance, and service repair needs on designated instrumentation.
- Complete on-time and accurate: Preventative Maintenance, Field Modifications, instrument repairs, and work-order / service call documentation. Provide excellent and efficient customer service to Beckman Coulter’s customers, along with technical training on products.
- Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, while building on and enhancing the relationship with the customer to ultimately become a perceived partner in their business. Travel throughout the district’s territory, and or Canada, experiencing all the various places our instrumentation is utilized

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Technical diploma in Biomedical, Electronics, or related field with minimum of 1-year of relatable experience (field service experience preferred).
- Ability to travel to and from the United States of America, a valid driver's license, and meeting Beckman Coulter safe driver criteria that complies with the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy, and vendor credentialing requirements. This includes without limitation: yearly background checks, immunizations, COVID vaccinations and various trainings.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Servicing any of the following instrumentations: chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, urinalysis
