**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including cooks and servers, to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Manage the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure accurate transactions and reporting.
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for customer service and food handling.
- Develop schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Implement restaurant policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with customers and staff alike.
- A strong understanding of health regulations and safety standards within the restaurant context.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
