**We are seeking a** **Journeyman/Women Cabinet Maker/Jointer**

Purpose:
To complement and grow our skilled team in our Custom Department.

As part of a TEAM you are expected to learn while you work and contribute to our high level of precision and craftsmanship.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Build custom cabinets and millwork according to specifications - Read and interpret blueprints for cabinet and millwork construction - Ability to make custom laminate or veneer products and sheet goods - Have the ability to utilize all shop machinery for production - Build custom structures, ladders and die walls for large components and wall paneling - Understand wood preparation for finishing.

Additional Skills:

- Proficient in different cabinet construction methods / techniques - Experience with CNC machinery is a plus - Skilled in carpentry and woodworking - Knowledge of wood finishing and preparation - Capable of heavy lifting
- Basic Machinery Service / Maintenance - Adhere to all company safety and quality policies and procedures.

Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM 4 -10 hour shifts

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Parksville, BC V9P 2W8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- cabinetry / joinery: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
