- **Positions Available**:_

**One-year Contract School-age 5.5-hour split shift RECE Position - **a typical before and after school RECE staff’s shift is 730am to 9am, and 2pm to 6pm on school days. On school breaks, such as PA days, March break, summer break and winter break, you are required to work full-time hours - 7 hours.
- membership in good standing in the College of ECEs
- Experience working closely as a team player in a licensed childcare centre; however, new grads are welcome
- Knowledge & experience implementing ELECT and “How Does Learning Happen”
- Knowledge & experience maintaining standards of childcare policies, the Child Care and Early Years Act and the City’s AQI
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR
- Proficiency with the English language; strong verbal and written English language skills
- Ability to lift up to 15 kilos, bend down, sit on the floor and frequently walk up 3 flights of stairs
- Comfortable supervising preschool, kindergarten and school aged children on trips, including being in the water on swim trips
- Possess strong interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork
- Ability to interact with children in a positive manner and discuss daily events with families
- Flexible; adapts easily to change; confident working with others in a demanding work environment which may include shared spaces with TDSB staff.

Jackman Community Daycare

**Salary**: $27.53 per hour
