**In this role, you will**:
**Responsibility 1. Under the direction of the Project Manager, coordinates project initiation, planning, and execution.**
- Assists the Project Manager with developing and maintaining project documents, presentations, workflows, processes, tools, logs, and plans.
- Keeps the Project Manager and project team members informed about project status and issues that may impact the project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Ensures that the project systems (e.g. Teams) are kept current and that project team members have access.
- Acts as a central point of contact for information related to projects and processes and ensures that processes are followed.

**Responsibility 2. Coordinates the project administration, monitoring, and control**
- Coordinates all meetings/training sessions, including organizing all meeting materials and logistics, vendor management, assisting with meeting minutes/agendas, and facilitating various project meetings at the direction of the Project Manager.
- Creates and maintains presentations, agendas, minutes, action/decision logs, attendee lists, and calendar invitations.
- Coordinates the tracking of staff/volunteer time and records it throughout the project.
- Produces and distributes timely, detailed summaries and various reports to provide key information to stakeholders.
- Coordinates the delivery of final project deliverables and recognition items to staff and volunteers.

**Responsibility 3. Financial Assistance Programs and Services**
- Responsible for the co-development, execution and maintenance of the community grant program and individual financial assistance program.
- Works with the Community Health and Knowledge Coordinator to identify gaps in service and maintain a community database of social prescribing influenced services.
- Coordinates financial assistance management by tracking individual/community organization expenses, grants and ensures deliverables are met for all contracts, vendor partnerships, and agreements.
- Coordinates community organization material and maintenance, including service coordination hub database.

**What we are looking for**:

- Completion of bachelors degree in business administration, project management, or in a related field with a minimum of three to five years of work experience.
- Experience working in a project team, supervisory experience an asset.
- Experience using web-based project and document systems is required, knowledge of Teams would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Red Cross Programs is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluency in French is an asset.
- Ability to provide leadership in project management practices, processes, and issue management.

**Working conditions**:

- Much of the work is performed in an office/hybrid work environment.
- May include long to moderate hours sitting and using computers and office equipment.
- May be required to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time up to 20 kg (or another weight).
- Events require a higher than usual physical effort during the preparation phase which includes transport of event materials (lifting and carrying boxes, setting up and dismantling displays).
- This position may require travel to attend conferences, workshops and meetings as required.
