Strassburger Windows & Doors is seeking individuals to join our growing and dynamic production team in our Customs Department. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday, which includes benefits, and Employee Family Assistance Program and a Group RRSP program.

Key Responsibilities:

- Shaping raw material into custom windows
- Cutting and welding for straight sided shapes
- Heat material in oven for bending curved shapes
- Use precision cuts or bending tables to set forms and add accessories
- Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

- Work experience in woodworking, carpentry and manufacturing
- Strong finish & fine carpentry skills (i.e., trim, one point, two-point welders, chop saw etc.)
- Attention to detail and able to read shop drawings/cut lists
- Team player focused answering to a team leader and plant manager
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Some heavy lifting required
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to work out measurements and calculations
- Needs to be able to work quickly and accurately while having the ability to shift to other tasks as required
- Completion of secondary school preferred
- 2 years’ woodworking experience

Compensations:

- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
