This includes welcoming people from across Canada and the world, helping people prepare for job opportunities and build the skills they need, promoting safe work environments and helping employers and employees know their rights and responsibilities. We work together to create a future where everyone has an opportunity to thrive.

The Corporate Policy and Services (CPS) Branch of LSI is the Department's primary link with the broader government. The Branch helps ensure the Department aligns with, and adheres to, government policies, priorities, and processes, and in turn, supports government decision making.

The Research, Accountability and Intergovernmental Affairs Division of the CPS Branch works to enable informed decisions through collaborative partnerships, quality information, and expert analysis and advice that create the conditions for a dynamic and resilient labour market.

Are you seeking an opportunity to inform and influence government's approach on a variety of labour related issues? Do you want to join a supportive and dedicated team working in a dynamic policy environment? You will have a consultative and advisory role in the development of policies and programs from an intergovernmental perspective and development of departmental monitoring and reporting systems. The Manager will lead and support a high-performing team of analysts and manage the human resource and budget functions of the unit.

On the accountability side, this further includes managing various requests for data and information, the Department's Accountability Report and Auditor General reporting, and developing tools and processes that enable a robust department-wide approach to communicating performance.

On the intergovernmental side, this further includes making strategic connections across various levels, departments and jurisdictions, representing the province on intergovernmental forums, and negotiating the development of provincial policy positions.
