Under the general direction of the Facilities Locate & Services Supervisor or delegate, you will work independently providing
underground locations on electrical and gas facilities and issue clearances in accordance with Corporate Policy and will perform
various other duties throughout the Winnipeg Customer Service Centres. You will provide a high standard of service to the customer
and in representing the Corporation. Service will be provided to customers in a professional, friendly, and caring manner with respect
to questions about their electrical service.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Provide underground locations on electrical and gas facilities and issue clearances in accordance with Corporate Policy.
- Perform collection activities associated to delinquent accounts.
- Change defective and retest energy meters and maintain related records.
- Perform accurate reading of gas and electric meters including 3 phase demand meters.
- Assist with construction and maintenance of distribution facilities.
- Perform overhead line inspection patrols as required.
- Assist with storm response and assessments as required.
- Perform standby duties as required.
- May be required to provide relief duties for other district service workers.
- May be required to work in other Customer Service Centres.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- Grade 12 education and one year of line locates experience.
- Line Locating certification and achieve a satisfactory level of competence.
- Competent with reading and interpreting plant construction drawings and Manitoba Hydro standards manuals.
- Effectively communicates information to others, written and oral.
- Familiar with procedures for "soft dig" methods.
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision, demonstrate initiative, good sense of judgement, and willingness to
- assume responsibility.- Have a mechanical aptitude to perform all duties of the position.
- Physically capable to perform all duties of the position.
- Familiar with Safety & Occupational Health Rules, traffic control, WHMIS, and handling and storage of dangerous goods.
- Possess a Manitoba Hydro approved set of personal hand tools.
- Possess a valid Province of Manitoba Driver's License with appropriate classification.
- May be required to obtain vehicle operator certification for various classes of equipment.

**Salary Range**
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $1,767.01-$2,313.90
Bi-weekly / $45,942.26-$60,161.40 Annually.
