At Communitas Supportive Society, we support and empower people of all abilities, from all walks of life, regardless of faith, social standing, race or ethnicity. We are looking for a **Driver License Trainer **to provide training to Communitas employees who are required to complete their Class 4 Driver’s License. The Trainer teaches employees how to study for their Class 4 Knowledge Test, and Road Test, and ensures they are competent in completing the Vehicle Pre-Trip-Inspection.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide visual inspection and test drive of the employee’s vehicle or a Communitas vehicle to ensure it can pass the pre-trip inspection (e.g. brake lights, turning signals)
- Review, understand, and adapt training for employees to ensure they are adequately prepared to take their applicable tests.
- Show employees all the necessary information they need in the ICBC Commercial Vehicle Study Book for the Class 4 knowledge test and road test.
- Facilitate the in-person training, using the prepared materials
- Assist the employee in booking their Class 4 Knowledge Test or Road Test during the training if needed
- Be familiar of the content in the ICBC Commercial Vehicle Study Book

**Location**:Abbotsford, BC

**Position**:Part Time Permanent

**Schedule**:Average 4hr/week - Shifts to be determined

- Possession of a valid Class 4 BC driver’s license (unrestricted) or higher
- Knowledge/experience with driving modified vehicles for work purposes
- Experience teaching other people an asset
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Completion of a Safe Driving Course an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: From $24.13 per hour
