**Overview**
The High Performance Computing Head of Sales position is a key leadership role to drive new sales bookings, lead the sales team in a myriad of different opportunities and sectors, drive partnerships and overall sales process excellence.
The role requires min 10 year’s experience as a quota-carrying Account Executive as well as in a sales leadership role with demonstrated success in partnering with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver robust solutions to our 300+ existing and prospective customers.
The business’ goals centre around driving profitable, recurring/sticky revenue in a nascent, innovative space.
**Responsibilities**
- Drive overall growth of the HPC business
- Be personally involved in all deals over $5K MRR and be the Executive Sponsor of all strategic deals
- Leadership of 6 team members including Solution Architects
- Pipeline management and forecasting accuracy
- Proposals and bid responses (or Oversee and execute proper management)
- Stay current on Competitive insights
- Contracting and negotiations
- Sales process
- Commission and quota tracking
- CRM/Salesforce tracking
- Determine unique Value propositions for Hut 8’s cloud, Colo and GPU Solutions
- Develop and educate the sales team on Objection handling for various sales scenarios
- Oversee Renewals
- Maintain executive relationships at Top 50 customers
- Use of Salesforce for reporting and analysis of pipelines, customer data and accurate forecasting methodologies
- Budget management for Cost of Sales including T&E
- Develop Partnerships and Channel Strategies and programs
- Quarterly Performance management of team through QBRs and annual Performance Reviews
**Experience**
- Colocation, cloud and network offerings including complex solutions design including electrical and mechanical systems, cloud solutions including compute, virtualization/VMware/OpenStack, DRaaS, storage solutions and network products
- Proposal and RFP leadership/project management including solution design, proposal development, must-win pricing identification
- AI/GPU market particularly NVIDIA A40/A100/H100/H200 product lines
- Some M&A exposure an advantage
- Building partnership and channel models including but not limited to OEMs, integrators and commercial real estate brokers
- Transition and integration exposure
- Canadian and US markets colocation, cloud and AI knowledge
- Crypto/blockchain industry experience preferred
