Student, Operations Controls
As a student in Operations Controls, you will have the opportunity to:
- Review and clear accounts potentially associated with money laundering (AML)
- Analyze potentially suspicious transactions related to anti-money laundering or anti-terrorist financing (ATF) and fraud detection
- Creating, preparing and analyzing statistical reports
- Day to day administrative duties as assigned
Student, FCC Operations
As a student in FCC Operations, you will have the opportunity to:
- Day to day administrative duties as assigned
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Settlements of new accounts and transfers
- Certificate processing
- Mutual fund and registered products processing
- Creating, preparing and analyzing statistical reports
Student, Dealer Relations
As a student in Dealer Relations, you will have the opportunity to:
- Partner with departments across Fidelity and learn how the back office provides support to those areas
- Work with various teams within Client Services in order to resolve inquires arising from Dealer back office.
- Update, research and maintain advisor information and change requests from various business units including Sales, Client Services, Processing, Dealer Relations and external clients
- Manage short term database projects and improve efficiencies in the process
- Provide support to the Dealer Relations Representatives and other ad hoc assignments
What we’re looking for:
- Working towards a university degree with a concentration in finance, commerce, business, or economics is preferred (ideally completed 1st or 2nd year)
- Keen interest in the financial services industry and capital markets
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service focus
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
- You must be currently enrolled in a registered co-op program to be considered for these positions
- You must also be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the co-op term
