**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Food Handling & Service**
- Purchase fruits, vegetables, and other requested food items from the grocery store located across the street.
- Organize, cut, and assemble fruit and vegetable platters, as well as pastries and snacks, for presentations and events.
- Prepare and serve morning coffee, fruits and vegetable plates, pastries, and other food items for office occupants and guests.
- Ensure food is presented in an appealing and professional manner.
- Replenish kitchen supplies such as bottled water, coffee, snacks, and sweets as needed.
- Restock the fridge with soft drinks, snacks, and other food-related items.
- Clean and maintain food service areas, including countertops, coffee machines, microwaves, and refrigerators.

**Facilities Maintenance & Cleanliness**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks, including wiping down countertops, disinfecting surfaces, and cleaning microwaves, toaster ovens, and the panini machine.
- Sweep and wash floors in the kitchen and common areas.
- Empty and load the dishwasher, organizing dishes in their proper places.
- Regularly clean and restock kitchenette areas, coffee machines, microwaves, and refrigerators.
- Inspect and maintain cleanliness in conference rooms, restocking supplies (water, snacks, paper, pens) as needed.
- Monitor and replenish office supplies such as paper, soap, and printer cartridges.
- Sort incoming mail, handle deliveries (FedEx, office supplies, snacks), and ensure the mailroom is organized.
- Check and restock printer/copier areas with paper and toner.

**Event Support & Coordination**
- During office events, assist with setting up and breaking down food and drink stations, providing utensils, napkins, and supplies, and cleaning up after the event.
- Store leftover food in the fridge once the event is over.
- Assist with moving furniture (chairs, tables) as needed for events or office setup.
- Ensure the food service areas is cleaned up and returned to order after events.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Take inventory of beverages, snacks, and office supplies and report low stock levels.
- Show initiative by actively seeking out tasks and asking office staff or management if any additional work is needed throughout the day.
- Ensure all incoming deliveries are received, organized, and distributed appropriately.
- Keep all areas of the office, including mailrooms and fax rooms, organized and free of clutter.

**Job Qualifications and Conditions**:

- Previous experience in food service, catering, and/or office maintenance.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written. Fluency in French an asset.
- Must be able to safely lift and carry heavy loads up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts occasionally for 5 à 7 cocktail events.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines, as well as cleaning and sanitization procedures.

- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Basic computer literacy skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel software used for inventory).
- Basic knowledge of office equipment (ex. printers, photocopiers, coffee machines).
- Physical ability to lift and move boxes, equipment, and/or furniture as necessary.

**Available Hours and Schedule**:

- **Hours**:37-38 hours per week.
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday (5 days per week), 7:30 or 8:00 AM - 3:30 or 4:30 PM.
