Nutrition Specialist

An employment opportunity to join our dedicated team at Navera Community Connections Early Learning & Family Center. We are looking to fill for a maternity leve that is a full-time position at our location in Rosewood starting May 27, 2024 with a possibility of extension.

Our team works cooperatively to create a supportive and nurturing environment for the children in our care and their parents. The Nutrition Specialist is responsible to:

- Plan and prepare high quality, nutritious meals for children
- Follow Canada's Food Guide
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Modify menus and recipes to meet dietary needs of the children
- Purchase food and supplies and manage inventory

Qualifications:

- Food Safe Level 1
- First Aid and CPR
- ECE certification is an asset

**Salary**: From $17.34 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe Level 1 (required)

Work Location: In person
