**Reporting to General Manager, Crop Input and Seeds, the General Manager for CRF Agritech will**:

- Be responsible for the overall management of CRF Agritech, a joint venture between the Sollio Groupe Coopératif network and Pursell Agritech, specializing in the production and sale of controlled release fertilizers;
- Lead the financial performance through effective business planning and execution;
- Lead the employees of CRF Agritech including recruitment, development and performance management
- Develop market opportunities to create demand for controlled release fertilizers and help define the pricing strategy of the product to maximize the financial performance of the business;
- Drive proper market segmentation between commodity agriculture, specialized agriculture and the turf and ornamental markets in order to maximize margins;
- Develop budgets for the company that leverage market opportunities;
- Implement sound business management initiatives which seek to control operating costs and maximize return on investments;
- Provide an overall business vision which cultivates a work environment that attracts, develops, motivates and retains the best employees;
- Set business goals and objectives along with personal development plans for related reports;
- Provide general direction and guidance to the balance of the organization;
- Align the vision between the project investors, Pursell, Sollio Agriculture and affiliated retail and cooperatives network;
- Responsible for ongoing market communications and main focal for customers in each of the three distinct market segments;
- Ensure the sustainability of the business by complying with all applicable corporate, industry and government laws and guidelines;
- Provide Environment Health and Safety leadership for the organization;
- Influence a strong working relationship among peers within the organization through effective, ongoing communication and interaction;
- Represent the company with related industry associations and attend applicable trade shows.

**_**This position requires frequent travel_**

**_YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE_**
- Bachelor’s in business or agriculture or equivalent;
- Minimum 10 years in management positions within the agriculture industry; preference to those with fertilizer experience and market development skill set
- Minimum 10 years agricultural experience with controlled release fertilizers an asset
- Minimum 5 years Account Management experience
- Forward thinking and able to translate ideas into solid strategies;
- Excellent negotiating skills with the capacity to develop and maintain productive relationships with various stakeholders;
- Proven track record driving sales performance and product adoption;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to share your vision and motivate your team;
- Fluent in English, French is an asset;
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
