About the role

The Mentoring Partnership Coordinator, supports CRIEC's core programs and strategic initiatives, including SmartConnections, Mentoring Cohorts, -, and Community Partner Meetings. This role is key in establishing relationships with local Immigrant Serving Agencies to build referral pipelines and ensure programs are successful. Additionally, this role is responsible for delivering employment skills webinars and workshops to mentees, helping them gain valuable insights and skills for career development.

Reports to: Manager, Mentorship Programs

Location: Hybrid (In-office 1-2 days a week or as needed)

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct Information & Orientation sessions with potential clients to assess readiness and suitability for mentorship support, 1-on-1 partnerships, Connector Meetings, or referrals to community resources
- Review client’s career goals to match with suitable mentor  
- Engage with CRIEC’s mentor base to match suitable mentor with mentee 
- Orient matched mentee and mentor pairs to CRIEC’s Mentorship Program  
- Conduct check-ins at regular intervals with mentees and mentors in a mentoring partnership  
- Support mentees and mentors and problem-solve potential concerns/issues to ensure successful outcomes 
- Provide resources to mentees and mentors as needed to support mentoring partnerships 
- Complete final check-ins at the conclusion of all mentorships  
- Ensure annual activity targets are achieved or exceeded  
- Provide post-mentoring support by reviewing client learnings, revising employment goals, offering further guidance, and recording mentee employment outcomes. 
- Connect clients with direct employment opportunities, as appropriate with CRIEC employer partners 
- Support clients with direct employment support, including resume review, interview preparation, etc. 
- Collect and enter client and mentor data into CRIEC’s systems to ensure accurate reporting
- Collaborate on interrelated projects with other project coordinators and leaders as needed.
- Use project management tools to stay on top of deadlines and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
- Willingness to grow with the organization and take on additional responsibilities as they arise.

**Qualifications**:
Must Have
- Legally able to work in Canada.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social work or related field and 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Recent and relevant experience in Project Coordination and administrative support (usually acquired over a period of 3 to 5 years) preferably within a non-profit setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
