The position is based in Toronto or Montreal.

Your role

You are a seasoned Agile Product Management practitioner who will guide and be accountable for all aspects of the Enterprise Application Delivery practice. Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications, you will lead and manage the Agile Delivery Practice and Application Delivery Platforms teams in support of Enterprise Applications initiatives.

As the Director of Enterprise Application Delivery, you will:

- Provide strategic guidance on our Agile Product Management strategy; specifically, provide expertise in agile delivery approaches, roles, responsibilities, processes and tooling considering the full product lifecycle (from planning through development / acquisition to support).
- On an annual basis, in collaboration with your peers, develop, recommend, implement and maintain a five-year plan for the evolution of the Application Delivery practice in support of Enterprise Applications objectives.
- Work in close collaboration with the Governance and Engineering Project Management Office to: (i) recommend and implement Agile best practices and develop / evolve hybrid delivery methodologies; and (ii) elaborate associated Roles and Responsibilities.
- Work in close collaboration with the Software & Platform Architecture and Enterprise Application Development groups to: (i) recommend, develop and implement / evolve DevOps processes (e.g. CI/CD, automated testing, release management, etc.) and associated tools & technologies that are compliant with the global architecture and corporate standards; and (ii) ensure supporting Roles and Responsibilities are defined and accepted.
- Collaborate with Business Relations and Enterprise Applications leaders to ensure Agile Product Teams and supporting functions remain aligned and optimized considering product requirements, business and technical expertise, resource availability and business priorities.
- Remain current in your field of expertise with respect to emerging approaches, frameworks and technologies to ensure the Delivery Practice remains current and is well positioned to help Enterprise Applications and the Organization realize optimal productivity and efficiencies.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with CBC/Radio-Canada technology and business partners as well as external vendors; and continuously communicate the importance and benefits of Agile Product Management throughout the Organization.
- Develop and report KPIs for Agile Product Management.
- Participate in the negotiation and renewal of contracts for products and services which support the Enterprise Application Delivery Practice.
- Participate in the development of business cases and feasibility studies as required.
- Guide, Coach, Enable, Support and Manage the team (Managers, SCRUM Masters, DevOps Specialists and Platform Administrators):

- Attract and retain internal and external talent to fulfill the mandate.
