As part of a team, our Associate Security Specialist, you'll monitor and investigate security events to identify potential attacks, analyze suspicious activities, and take appropriate actions. You'll perform detailed analysis of security logs to detect incidents and manage security incidents through the entire response lifecycle, from identification to closure. All activities will be carried out in line with CDO policies, ensuring security monitoring systems and consoles are diligently and promptly monitored.

This is a hybrid position, reporting to the office 2 days a week.

**Key Responsibilities**

You will assist with daily activities related to monitoring, escalation, and incident response, while supporting the team throughout the incident response process. Your role will involve ensuring that all security and operational controls are enforced to keep client data secure, available, and private. You’ll help other teams set standards and implement logging and monitoring tools. You'll also triage events, threats, and incidents in line with established procedures. Additionally, you'll stay updated on Sage policies, complete training, deliver assignments on time, and maintain awareness of evolving threats by participating in relevant security groups and forums.

The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Certain provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role.

For this role, in those locations, the target salary range for new hires is: $67,000 to $75,000.00.
