- Preparing and filing monthly government remittances (GST/HST, PST/RST).
- Enabling data-driven decision making by participating in meetings with CEOs of emerging startups to discuss how their financials tie into the bigger operational picture.
- Strengthening investor relations and financial transparency by preparing investor reporting, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and other financial planning and analysis.
- Supporting our clients in meeting their financial and growth goals by participating in strategic planning with our Virtual Controllers and CFOs
- Supporting clients through capital raises and capital allocation through cash flow management and analysis.

**Who we’re looking for**:

- You’ll bring 1-2 years of experience in public practice or related accounting fields — ideally experiencing high growth in a remote environment.
- You have an intuitive communication style with team members and clients that contributes to our culture of trust, respect, and reliability — especially when working remotely and asynchronously.
- You have a strong aptitude with structuring and processing data in Excel/GSheets to draw insightful conclusions from it, while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail.
- You have an uncanny ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information in an environment of complexity and change.
- You self-manage your schedule, priorities and deadlines in a flexible way that aligns with your team.
- You find meaning in working in a tight-knit team and thrive when collaborating with and learning from those around you.

**Bonus points for**:

- Company provided equipment: a high performing laptop, 2 monitors, all the peripherals
- The flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada
