We are well established within the city for quality programming and our Coffee program is no exception. Our goal is to have the leading coffee and bean shop program in the city and this is a multi-unit leadership role.

Reporting to Operations Director, the Coffee Program Manager is expected to oversee the planning, organizing, training and leadership related to all aspects of our Coffee program. Being hands on in the day-today
- operations is critical including acting as lead barista, helping with store orders, staff education and supplier relationships. This critical role is aimed at achieving sales, targeted costs, employee retention and ultimately guest satisfaction through exceptional product and hospitality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversight of all program execution efforts and act as lead barista for all 6 locations
- Be present on the floor during service, assist with selections, and provide personalized guidance
- The control of costs and expenses to achieve the targets set for the program
- Purchasing of beans aimed at creating comprehensive and unique bean shop offering
- Oversee staff training and education programs
- Develop relationships with guests
- Deliver superior service and optimize client dining experience on a daily, consistent basis
- Participate in the constant improvement of FOH operations
- Creating and innovating on coffee programs for new and existing locations
- Building relationships with our partners as well as building relationships and collaborating with new partners
- Marketing for the program
- Developing a strategy to expand coffee wholesale

Expectations:

- Full knowledge of all espresso based drinks
- Experience working in a high volume cafe
- Understanding of operating grinder, manual and semi-automatic machines and other equipment
- Experience training staff from basic to advance levels
- Experience with ordering products
- Understands pour over concepts
- Experience with scheduling staff
- Strong communication, attention to detail and team player
- Takes initiative and able to take direction from management

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
