B&B Contracting Group is currently seeking a dedicated Yard Supervisor to join our growing company in the concrete division.

The Yard Supervisor at B&B Concrete Ltd. is responsible for supporting the operations of the concrete plant by performing a variety of tasks, including directing vehicle traffic, filling and cleaning lock block forms, washing out mixer trucks, loading and unloading construction materials, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the plant. This role requires effective communication with other labourers, machine operators, and site management to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct vehicle traffic and signal equipment operators as needed to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Fill, clean, and break lock block forms efficiently and accurately.
Wash out mixer trucks to maintain cleanliness and functionality.
Load, unload, or identify construction materials, machinery, and tools as required.
Chip, clean, and conduct general upkeep of the plant and surrounding area to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
Use hand and power tools as necessary to complete various tasks.
Communicate effectively with other laborers, machine operators, and site management to coordinate work activities.
Direct mixer drivers during downtime to ensure continuous workflow.
Load and deliver concrete during peak times to meet demand.
Shuttle trucks to and from repair facilities as needed.
Manage the Concrete Reclaimer and associated water systems to ensure efficient operation.
Uphold a safe work environment by strictly adhering to safety policies and work procedures.
Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years of construction-site or concrete labour experience.
Valid Class 3 unrestricted driver's license.
Experience in heavy or highway construction is preferred.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new tasks.
Physical capabilities required include climbing, lifting, carrying a minimum of 75 lbs., standing, sitting, walking, entering confined spaces, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and performing repetitive actions.

COMPENSATION

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Salary**: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Hourly pay rate will be adjusted based on skills and experience.
