We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist the organization to reduce the risk of producing faulty products by conducting tests, performing measurements, and supervising the production processes. You will support manufacturing operations to ensure their product specifications are met.

**RESPONSIBILITIES - reporting to the QHSE Director**
- Perform quality assessments of incoming materials and outgoing products.
- Read and understand plans, blueprints, and specifications to complete inspection of mechanical components during incoming inspection.
- Measuring product dimensions to confirm conformance to engineering, and industry standard specifications.
- Testing a percentage of products per company and industry standards.
- Conducting tests at different stages of production, from gathering of components to the final product.
- Manage complete cycle of incoming inspections, nonconformities of products, disposition of rejected parts in coordination with engineering Dept.
- Provide support to Project Managers and Engineering with vendors for Disposition Management of nonconformities.
- Document inspection findings, and capture statistics of incoming inspection and manufacturing inspections based on QA/QC principles.
- Report any defects or problems with products to Senior Staff.
- Recordkeeping of inspection records for traceability purposes.
- Update testing protocols and standards to increase quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Warehouse Staff for inventory purposes and documentation and location of incoming inspection.
- Complete Quality projects under the guidance of the QHSE Director.

General:

- Become a trusted team member to support the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) of the company.
- Participate in all initiatives from the company that promotes quality, well being and the growth of the business.

**Experience Required**:

- Minimum 5 yrs. of experience in quality assurance/quality control in manufacturing settings.
- Minimum 5 yrs. experience in conducting measurement of mechanical parts to verify conformance to geometry of the engineering design.
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification or any other Quality Inspection certification is an asset.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse job functions and people.
- Demonstrate competency with Microsoft 365.
- Must have logical mindset with organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Excellent PC skills

*Must live in Edmonton, AB Region.
