**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an accomplished Corporate Research** **Officer** **to join our team as part of our financial services business in Montreal.

- researching companies and individuals to establish corporate structures and ownership;
- assisting in the provision of enhanced monitoring;
- reputational and background research, and current awareness services.

**What You Bring**
- the successful applicant will have relevant experience working in either a legal or financial services environment and have an understanding of corporate research resources, anti-money laundering and relevant regulatory requirements;
- a strong academic background is essential. A degree or diploma in a related field would be an advantage, as would a working knowledge of corporate based research;
- the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- knowledge of Mandarin language is a strong asset

- effectuer des recherches auprès des entreprises et des particuliers afin d’établir les structures et la propriété de l’entreprise;
- contribuer à l’amélioration de la surveillance;
- effectuer des recherches sur la réputation et les antécédents et fournir des services de sensibilisation actuels.

**Votre contribution**
- un excellent niveau académique est essentiel. Un grade ou un diplôme dans un domaine connexe serait un avantage, tout comme une connaissance pratique de la recherche en entreprise;
- la capacité de faire preuve d’initiative et de travailler sous pression pour respecter les échéances.
- Connaissance du Mandarin un atout
