DeFord Contracting Inc. is looking for an _experienced and hardworking_ **Gravel** **Truck Driver’s** for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

**Responsibilities**:
- Comply with safe working procedures and practices
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Haul various materials to and from site
- Perform other related duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- **MUST** **have a valid Class 3 license with Air Ticket**:
- 2+ years’ experience driving tandem gravel trucks
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol test
- Excellent knowledge of city and surrounding areas
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Hauling asphalt experience a _definite asset_
- Experience doing proper pre trip inspections
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Basic computer skills required
- Reliable and a positive attitude

- driving tandem gravel trucks: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Class 3 Licence (preferred)
- Air Ticket (preferred)
- CSTS 2020 (preferred)
- Clean 5 year Diver Abstract (please attach when applying) (required)
