Duties & Responsibilities:

- Accurately estimate plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems using computer estimating systems and software.
- Accurately gather all information associated with HVAC supply orders and process invoicing.
- Maintain estimating logs and unit costs for projects.
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships.
- Interact with the sales and project management teams to insure all projects are performed under budget.
- Read and understand front end documents, specifications and addenda.
- Meet and work with customers to design, quote, and execute a solution to meet their needs.
- Help senior estimators with material take-offs and project estimation.
- Prepare jobs to be released for fabrication.
- Communicate with customers on a daily basis.
- Other duties required.

Job Requirements:

- Must be proficient in math.
- Strong computer skills.
- Be able to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to read specs and drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Communication skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or in a related field
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and components
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
