Administrative Operations Coordinator

**Overview**:
**We are** currently looking to fill an Administrative Operations Coordinator position at our new Sturgeon County facility near Fort Saskatchewan. Working directly with the Plant Manager, the Administrative Operations Coordinator, directly supports the day-to-day operations of the Sturgeon County Plant, through effective organization, documentation, and administration of daily requirements. With a primary focus on the operations and maintenance of the facility, the coordinator will work with and support other central functions to ensure the efficient operation of the Sturgeon Country plant.
**Primary Accountabilities (**_**What do I own)**_
1. Administration & Support
- Assist with organizing meetings, maintaining office cleanliness, and supporting other departments with special projects.
- Support the implementation and adoption of company wide policies, processes, and procedures at the Sturgeon Country plant
- Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing workstations and ensuring paperwork is completed.
2. Documentation Data Entry & Reporting
- Review and process documentation for accuracy, filing necessary paperwork in an organized and accessible manner.
- Assist with generating reports as needed for Sturgeon Country plant.
- Input and maintain accurate data in various databases and software systems, may include shipment logs, inventory records, safety, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain plant employee training records and coordinate staff training sessions.
**Secondary Accountabilities (**_**What am I supporting)**_
1. Purchasing & Inventory Management
- Identify and communicate requirements for purchasing office supplies, safety equipment, and materials required for operational needs.
- Support tracking of inventory levels, anticipate shortages, and reorder supplies to prevent disruptions in workflow.
2. Shipping & Receiving
- Support the inspection of deliveries, updating inventory systems with incoming and outgoing goods.
- Coordinate as requested inbound and outbound shipments, including tracking, documentation, and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and receipts, updating management as needed.

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Business or technical Diploma/Degree considered an asset
- Previous experience in office administration, coordination, or planning.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry systems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices is a plus.
**Work Location**:

**Work Schedules**:
- Standard work schedule will be Mon-Fri 7 am - 3 pm.
**Wage**:
- Wage ranges from $22 - $25 per hour depending on experience.
