**Role and responsibilities**

Reporting into the Data, Digital & Benefits Lead for the GO Expansion Program the role forms part of the Integrated Program Team (PT).

The role is responsible for delivering, and where possible exceeding the clients’ expectations across the following areas of responsibility within a large, multidisciplinary program delivery team:

- Lead Data Transformation efforts within the GO Expansion Program
- Play a critical role in envisioning, designing, and implementing Digital Transformation initiatives aligned to data
- Provide expertise in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data architecture, and data modeling
- Manage a team of data and engineering professionals to establish a robust data ecosystem enabling the effective delivery of the GO Expansion Program while providing capability for the wider organization

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for data management, data mobilization, and data transformation aligning with program goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of data professionals while providing guidance, mentorship, and clear direction to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Lead and influence the AI Forecasting Strategy and Plan and champion utilizing data science and data engineering tools to improve the efficiency of the Program team mandate.
- Build and nurture the data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence capabilities within the program. Align these efforts with program objectives, mentor team members, and facilitate continuous learning to ensure the team stays at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Ensure that data architecture is scalable, flexible and work towards achieving high performance, operational excellence, accuracy, and reliability of the overall data systems. Manage the efforts to create, maintain and iterate a data dictionary and data catalog, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Address existing data debts (i.e. structures not currently optimized or scalable) within the program and introduce a robust data management process map to govern the data practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and model datasets encompassing all projects within the program. Manage the team to work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Lead the efforts to establish and maintain master datasets that serve as a foundation for accurate and consistent intelligence. Streamline maintenance processes and ensure data integrity, contributing to the creation of a single source of truth.
- Lead efforts to manage the program's self-analytics transformational journey, by building the ecosystem that enables stakeholders to make informed decisions, developing departmental data marts and ensuring that the program-wide training sessions to empower stakeholders with the necessary data analytics capabilities are delivered.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of the GO Expansion Program by leveraging data insights. Build internal capacity for handling future complex programs with data-driven strategies and practices.
- Report to the Digital, Data, and Benefits Lead, providing regular updates on data transformation progress, challenges, and alignment with program objectives.

**Technical Competencies Required**
