**THE ROLE**
- Manage the development and implementation of the school’s boarding student recruitment and retention strategy and ensure that the strategy is aligned with the school’s overall mission, pillars and purpose, including supporting the school’s goals for diversity and inclusivity.
- Lead the development of the school’s annual admissions travel plan and research potential new markets and provide plans and business cases in support of the development of these markets.
- Responsible for achieving the School’s annual admissions boarding targets by identifying, meeting, recruiting, interviewing and making recommendations on the admissibility of prospective students
- Guide and support new students and parents through all phases of the admissions process
- Follow-up with new students and families to ensure a smooth transition to the school by working directly with the Boarding Life team, Guidance, and School Directors
- Participate as the lead Admissions member of the New Boarder Orientation Committee
- Responsible for developing and overseeing the new boarder and family welcome program on the first day of orientation week in an effort to create a seamless transition for incoming parents and students.
- Manage the School’s third-party agent relationships
- Prepare and distribute profiles of all incoming boarding students to the School Directors, Guidance, Boarding Life and Advancement teams.
- Liaise and communicate with school Directors, House Directors, and Guidance for retention and tracking purposes and to ensure proper direction and communication to families pertaining to retention issues
- Act as the main support for the Student Boarding House Ambassadors
- Participate in school and community events
- Support the implementation of the school’s impact student recruitment programme as it pertains to the boarding targets
- Develop relationships with other CAIS, TABS/NABI, Round Square, WLSA and G30 schools to gain learning and insights into different recruitment and admissions best practices

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Post-secondary education is required
- Previous experience in Admissions or in a related field
- Experience working in international markets and with families from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent customer service, people skills and relationship-building skills
- Multi-tasking, great attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Strong initiative, follow-up & tracking skills
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and within a team environment
- Excellent writing & communication skills
- Organization, flexibility, and energy, with the ability to prioritize a complex and dynamic set of activities
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office suite (including Outlook)
