We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Water division and build innovative projects, such as wastewater treatment plants, water treatment plants, water processing and control plants, and stormwater management. **About The Role**
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector is responsible for providing technical support to senior project staff (Project Managers, Superintendents, etc.) and conducting required quality inspections in accordance with the required codes of construction.
**As a Quality Inspector at Graham, you will**:
- Ensure trades are certified to perform the scope of work assigned.
- Conduct pre-install meeting with subcontractors and suppliers prior to the start of a new item of work.
- Ensure implementation of the Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP) on project site by all project stakeholders.
- Ensure the implementation and the regular updating of the Inspection and Test Plan(s)(ITP).
- Conduct site inspections as detailed in the ITP(s).
- Review Quality related documents submitted by subcontractors.
- Request testing by independent testing agencies.
- Manage and track the Deficiency Management Process.
- Issue or review all project Surveillance Reports (FSR) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Maintain the QNEX database for statistical reporting and maintenance on quality data.
- Conduct Quality orientation of new certified trades on project site.
- Ensure the Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP) meets the requirements of the applicable QCM(s).
- Ensure the Inspection and Test Plan(s) (ITP) meets the requirements of the applicable QCM(s).
- Identify quality inspection forms applicable to the project scope of work.
- Assist with development of Field Instruction Work Packages (FIWPs) and Test Packages (TPs).
- Ensure the required permits have been applied for.
- Ensure subcontractors have been prequalified for the scope for work to be completed.
- Review subcontractors’ ITP(s) for compliance with the codes of construction.
**Qualifications/Experience**:
- Minimum High School Diploma; Journeyman Trade Certification or Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 3-5 year of experience in a Project Quality Inspector role or similar
- Experience on Civil/Mechanical project scopes is required
- General knowledge of and increasing familiarity with the core elements of a construction project, including systems, practices, and processes of quality management system
- Good presentation skills and verbal / written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Proficiency using scheduling and project management software
