Consolidated Civil Enforcement has been serving the Legal Profession, Government Agencies, Financial Institutions and the general public since 1955. In 1989, The Ministry of Attorney General called for Tenders to provide Court Bailiff services.

Court Bailiffs must be very knowledgeable regarding Legal and Legislative requirements to fulfill their duties while also being sensitive to the creditor's wishes and the debtor's predicament. The Court Bailiff, as an Officer to the Court must always be cognizant of the fact that his/her actions and duties in the execution of Court Orders reflect directly on the integrity of all levels of Court.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Grade 12 graduate or equivalent
- No criminal convictions.
- A valid class 5 driver's license with a good driving record.
- Basic computer keyboard skills.
- Canadian Citizen.
- Good Character.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Must consistently demonstrate the traits of tact, diplomacy and common sense.
- Work experience in a supervisory capacity and/or having significant interaction with the public, both in positive and negative situations is an advantage.

Having the basic requirement may get your foot in the door to take Step 1.

**Step 1**:
We will provide the training for the written exam that measures an applicant's memory retention for basic information on Court Order Enforcement. This period also includes CCEBC ride alongs.

**Step 2**:
If you are successful in passing the exam, your may be Court Appointed by Ministry of Justice and start your career in Civil Law Enforcement pursuant to the Sheriff Act and Court Order Enforcement Act.
