**Position**:Residence Support Worker

**Location**:Burnaby, BC**

**Salary**:$25.05- **$28.75
**Hours: 26.0 **hours/week**

**Schedule: Tursday 5:00pm-10:00pm Friday 5:00pm-11:00pm Saturday & Sunday 3:30pm-11:00pm**

**Description**: Adult Support Workers at BACI support people to lead a good life. This role works with people to explore dreams and passions providing opportunities for people to develop relationships, find places of belonging in community, have a home they view as a haven and support people to work towards a balanced life which is healthy and safe.

**Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support people in a shared-living home to have positive control of their home and to be active members of their community
- Ensuring that individuals are connected to friends and family.
- Providing individuals with the opportunity to make meaningful choices
- Encouraging and recognizing individuals' contributions
- Ensuring that individuals are safe and to promote their health and well-being

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Graduation from a Community College with an appropriate diploma or certificate in Human Services OR an equivalent of education and experience.
- Current First Aid & CPR, NCI training (both provided by BACI)
- TB screening,
- valid unrestricted BC Class 5 Drivers License required
