The Purchasing Coordinator position includes supply chain management, analytics, effective communication and forecasting.

**Job Duties**
- Prepare reports to review with Purchasing Director required weekly/monthly/annually.
- Forecasting and following seasonal trends and current sales trends.
- Professional communication with vendors and Purchasing Dept.
- Organize calendar and schedules.
- Maintain strict control over inventory levels to meet demand of product to guarantee optimum stock levels and to meet turnover goals.
- Adding new items and updating and maintenance of current product skus in the system and monitor new item sales/mins.
- Negotiating as required.
- Updates master vendor files and price lists, monitoring proper margins.
- Timely creation of Purchase Orders.
- Logistics and freight negotiations for orders.
- Compare invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered, managing defects, invoice discrepancies and delivery time lines.
- Monitor aged inventory and exit strategy. Monitor markdowns.
- Creates and monitors Store-to-Store transfers.
- Cost saving initiatives.

Reporting location will be our Cambridge office and our Kitchener office.
