**Responsibilities**
- Schedule and deliver weekly instruction in the classroom and/or in-car.
- Establish an open and creative learning environment.
- Facilitate discussions and coach students on program material.
- Use Driver Education software to:

- _Monitor and support student progress._
- _Enter data and comments._
- _Administer, review and grade assignments and/or assessments._
- _Administer written tests and vision screening, if required._
- Work collaboratively with the Driver Education team and Driver Z participants.
- Possess a laptop and/or mobile device with access to the internet.
- Maintain a driver training vehicle, if required.

**Requirements**:

- Be a resident of Manitoba.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of experience with a valid full stage Class 5 or equivalent driver’s licence, issued within Canada or the United States.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage schedules independently.
- Experience facilitating training/workshops in large group settings is preferred.
- Experience teaching or coaching youth is preferred.
- Professional driving experience is an asset.

**Conditions of Employment**
- Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check as part of the recruitment process.
- Hold a valid Manitoba Class 5F driver’s licence in good standing.
- Qualify for and complete the Manitoba Driving Instructor Training course for class 5 vehicles.
- Maintain a valid Manitoba Class 5 Driving Instructor permit.
- Maintain a valid Driver Training School and Training Vehicle permit, if required.
- Must be able to work shift work (evenings, and weekends).

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $23.50-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 27 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
