The **Analyst I, Finance **is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills with the potential opportunity to grow further with Emerson Based in our **Calgary, AB Canada **location, as a part of our Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will carry out varied assignments requiring general familiarity with finance.

**AS AN ANAYLST I, FINANCE, YOU WILL**:

- Reconciles GL accounts.
- Contributes to the review of head office policies and procedures and ensures the Industry Center is in alignment with all requirements.
- Reviews complex allocation errors and resolves discrepancies.
- Assists all functional areas with processing and data maintenance.
- Provides timely and accurate information to management.
- Contributes to the development and consolidation of financial reports and data.
- Participates in mentoring and reviewing coordinators’ work.
- Participates in training others and the development of training courses.
- Participates in best practices and innovation.

**REQUIRED Education, Experience & Skills**
- 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Finance
- CPA designation (You must have completed the educational portion)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint)

**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:

- Experience in Oracle ERP and HFM
- Experience in project accounting
