This role involves working in a number of different areas including office administration, bookkeeping, and social media management. The position has some flexibility with hours but is a full-time position located in our Ottawa East office. This position reports to the owner and works very closely with our small team of technical wizards. Duties include the following:

- preparing sales quotes (preparing quotes and ensuring they are sent to clients)
- procurement (working with various vendors to ensure items are ordered/received, deadlines are met and tracking is communicated to our team and clients)
- daily bookkeeping and regular monthly invoicing (ensuring all regular monthly billing is kept up to date and sent to clients in a timely manner)
- ACC/REC and ACC/PAY reports and follow up with clients/vendors to ensure payments are current
- answering calls from clients and creating work tickets
- documentation (working with our team to ensure documents and client details are up to date and accessible)
- assisting with creating some sales documentation for presentations and posting on various social media platforms

**Required Skills**:

- You bring a positive side to everything you do and people love working with you
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other basic Office Applications
- You are a great team player with lots and lots of input (seriously, we really want your input)
- An understanding of basic accounting concepts and a minimu of 1 year experience with Quickbooks (Online Version) accounting software
- Strong organizational skills and time management (we may need some help keeping in line here).
- Desire to be continuously learning (every day is a new day and we are a continuous learning environment)
- Ability to work on tasks independently and "own" them (you own it but you are not alone....we are a team that loves to help)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (feel free to correct our grammar)

Nice to have Skills:

- Creative with graphics (if you have experience with some graphics programs and can create some really neat stuff it's a plus).
- Experience in creation of marketing collateral (if you created something that helped sell something that is helpful).
