**Job Description** Bellperson - Full Time, Seasonal (April 1st-September 30th)**

Always lending a helping hand with a smile. As a Bellperson, your passion for the property, knowledge of our hotel and city, and the professionalism you display will ensure our guests feel welcome as soon as they arrive.

**What you will be doing**:

- Providing all arriving guests with a warm welcome, and acting as a first and last point of contact for guests
- Responsible for the delivery of Guest’s to their room, luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the hotel
- Ensure the timely and efficient transfer of luggage to and from the guest’s room
- Personalize guests’ orientation of their room in a professional, friendly and engaging way
- Keeping Door area and Lobby impeccable at all times
- Knowledgeable of Vancouver, our attractions, directions, cultural scene, etc.
- Maintain presence in the lobby as an ambassador of our hotel and brand, providing thoughtful touches and offering exceptional service to our guests
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards, including all safety policies
- Responsible for driving the hotel car to shuttle guests around Vancouver as required

**Qualifications** Your experience and skills include**:

- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License required
- Previous customer related experience an required
- Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including but not limited to mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, overtime shifts and holidays
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles an asset
